claudit is a native macOS menu bar app. homebrew or DMG — pick one, under a minute either way. no account, no server, nothing leaves ~/.claude.

run this in your terminal. you may be prompted for your password to install into /usr/local/bin.

launch &
read the dashboard.

  1. openclaudit from Spotlight or Applications. it docks into the menu bar.
  2. clickthe menu-bar icon — today's spend appears.
  3. dashboardopens heatmaps, sessions, and per-project views.
  4. that's itclaudit indexes ~/.claude on launch and re-indexes on file change.
